Placing an Order
Important: Finders Fine Foods ships orders from two warehouses. One in Vancouver, British Columbia for service to Western Canada, the other in Toronto, Ontario for service to Eastern Canada. Not all of Finders inventory is carried in both warehouses. The drop -down list box on the "case list price" line will indicate from which location your selected item(s) are available.
You are not limited to ordering from the warehouse closest to you. It may be more advantageous for you to order from the warehouse closest to the intended destination of the order. For example, if the delivery destination is in another part of the country, you may be able to save freight costs and time by ordering from the warehouse closest to the delivery address.
When you have decided the products you wish to purchase, this is how you order them:
- Determine the item and quantity you'd like to order,
- Enter the quantity you want to buy in the "Qty" box and then click on the "Add to Shopping Cart" button. If you do not click on this button, the product will not be added to your cart,
- Once you have moved to the checkout stage, you are then able to change quantities, delete items (by placing a "0" in the quantity column) or add items. This will not change your original Shopping List, but you can now save the changed list as a further personal Shopping List if you so desire,
- At any time during your shopping, by clicking on the "Check out" button you can see what you have selected to that point and what the total cost is,
- Once you've finished making your selections, again, simply click "View Shopping Cart".
Follow the next steps through to "Submit My Order", remember that at any time you can return to a previous page and make changes as necessary
Product Availability
Should the item you request be out of stock, Finders will not keep that order in the system and surprise you later with an unexpected delivery!
Any order that cannot be filled will be credited to your charge card immediately.

Advantages of Power ShopperTM
Power ShopperTM is a way to speed up your shopping process. It can best be seen as you walking in to a supermarket and being confronted with several shopping baskets already filled with the products you usually buy. You pick the one you want this week and proceed immediately to the express checkout counter. What could be easier?
You can build your own Shopping Lists, call them whatever you like, modify them when you like, add new ones, delete old ones and, best of all, they are exclusively yours. No one else can see or access your lists.
Power ShopperTM is simply a way for Finders Fine Foods to serve you better.
Setup/Use Power ShopperTM
To use this feature you must be either a Registered Customer or an Account Customer.
Power ShopperTM is a method for you to build one or more Shopping Lists and save them for future use. You can create these Shopping Lists as you go.
- Once you have put together your first set of purchases, as you check out you will have the option to "Save as a Shopping List",
- If you select this option, you will be prompted to name this Shopping List. (You can then return and continue to check out),
- Next time you visit the site, after you have logged in and then returned to the Product page, at the lower left side of the Product page you will see a new group titled "Your Shopping Lists". This is your own personal set of Shopping Lists - only you can see it!! Since you will only see the name of each shopping list, it is better to name them so you can easily recognize them. You can then select the one you want and simply proceed through the final processes of payment etc. and the job is done,
- If you need to see their content, then you must go to "Your Account" and select "View Shopping Lists". All your Shopping Lists will then appear showing all the pre-set items and quantities that you set up,
- You can change quantities or the names of any of these lists at this time,
- You can also select any of these Lists to buy and use the "Buy this List" button to add it to any other items you may have already placed in your shopping basket,
- Once you have moved to the checkout stage, you are then able to change quantities, delete items (by placing a "0" in the quantity column) or add items. This will not change your original Shopping List, but you can now save the changed list as a further personal Shopping List if you so desire.
This will become an easy way to save you trying to remember what is was you bought last time you visited the site or how many you needed at that time. It may also save you forgetting to order something you need.
