Shipping Carriers
Finders Fine Foods will, wherever practical, use UPS and Fed Ex for delivery services. As a result, we require a physical street address for all orders. Neither UPS nor Fed Ex will deliver to post office boxes.
Our choices of carrier are based on local pick up times that will give the latest window for same day shipping. If you do not receive a confirming e-mail then Finders Fine Foods did not receive your order.
The morning following shipment of your order, information regarding your order including the tracking number will be available on our website. You can access this by going to Your Account / View Previous Orders. You then select which order you wish to track, click on the order and you will be able to see all details of the order. You will also be able to directly access either the Fed Ex or UPS web tracking system. This will allow you to follow the progress of your order until the time of delivery.
Certain products are of a size or weight that neither UPS nor Fed Ex will carry them. In these cases, motor freight will be suggested and the Buyer agrees to accept the responsibility of ownership once the carrier accepts the material.
To recover for loss or damage occurring during transit, the Buyer shall file a claim with the carrier for that loss or damage. If the material is lost or damaged on a UPS shipment, it should be immediately reported to the UPS driver and reported to Finders Fine Foods for the processing of the claim. Finders Fine Foods will not ship partial shipments unless there is prior mutual agreement with the Buyer.
Delivery Options
Shipping Methods: Finders Fine Foods can offer you shipment by the leading carrier of your choice. However, if you are ordering product on-line, you will be shown the cost of your shipment by Fed Ex and UPS.
You will be shown the cost of the different services and delivery times that these companies offer and you can select whichever best suits you.
Shipping Information: Orders for in-stock products placed from the Finders Fine Foods website that are received by 3:00pm EST, Monday - Friday (except holidays) will be shipped the next business day.
Minimum Orders: Finders Fine Foods has no minimum order requirement.
If ordering over the website, you will be advised of what this cost is as you proceed to checkout.
Delivery Times
The shipment date assigned to an order is approximate, and every effort will be made to maintain that shipping schedule. However, unless stated otherwise in writing, Finders Fine Foods accepts no responsibility for shipping delays.
Shipment Tracking
You will receive an order acknowledgement via e-mail confirming the order placed which will give you a Sales Order number. To track your order, go to "Your Account" select the "View Previous Orders" link, select and open the order you wish to track, this will give you a tracking number. When you select this number it will link you to the appropriate carrier's site for tracking.
Please contact our sales staff if your order does not arrive at the requested time, quoting the tracking number.
