Nando's tradition of good food and passion for life is inspired by Portuguese Explorers on the famous Spice Route in the 15th Century. It was in Aftrica, with it's rich soils, majestic thunderstorms and intense heat that a small treasure was discovered. The African Bird's Eye Chili, PERI PERI, is the common ingredient in all Nando's sauces and is the key to providing the intense flavour of all our products.
